I want to thank all of you for hanging out for my 12 hour birthday stream. We made it to 35 subs tonight (MY HIGHEST EVER), tens of thousands of bits were dropped in chat, my 6 month beard was defeated, & I have the day off on Monday with plenty of opportunity to stream again.

I was stroking my beard & thinking of things to do for my bday stream on Sunday & then it dawned on me. If I hit a certain number of follows or subs, I could shave a 6 month old beard...

28 subs or 2500 follows are the magic numbers.

It's been a hot minute since I used this announcement post.

Streams should be resuming on a more frequent basis now that I've decided that I've had enough with my current job's bureaucratic nonsense & put in my 2 weeks notice this evening.

I'm also moving most of my stuff to my new apartment tomorrow, so streams likely won't resume until Wednesday the 20th. Still have to see when I can get my internet moved by calling my ISP.

I'll be having a proper "birthday stream" after the move is complete, more than likely this next weekend.

Christmas Stream Giveaway

There will be a bunch of things going on for the Christmas stream this year, giveaways, crate openings, viewer games, & did I mention giveaways?

The first thing I'd like you guys to do if you're able to is keep an eye out for announcements similar to this one on either the Discord server. If you haven't joined via this link https://discord.gg/FqPZmW5 you're missing out on a lot of announcements.

Secondly, after this month is over and I no longer have to work 48 hours a week, I am going to be attempting to push my stream schedule to a twice daily schedule for the new year. Once in the early afternoon & once late at night so I have time for chores, food, errands, & sleep if I need a nap & I think it will help out with allowing people to watch more often and at different times if needed.

The main reason for this change is that I miss my European viewers and they sure as hell miss catching me when I'm streaming & as a result we've been stagnant on growth for the past couple weeks, partially due to the schedule change when I got back from TwitchCon, partially to do with several people unfollowing from that huge raid from Ohmwrecker back in July (although most of them have stayed). Something has to change & I'm attempting to change schedules first to resume growing our community before doing anything too drastic.

I look forward to hearing your feedback because your opinions are important to me; this is as much my stream as it is yours. You guys allow me to just do my thing & laugh when I'm salty.

Overwatch Beta Impressions

Don't get me wrong, this game has everything it could possibly need to be good, but it is too reliant on having a good team comp and excellent team communication over individual skill. As it stands right now, voice comms are really good for in-game comms, probably the best I've ever used. However nobody uses it because of the dozens of other chat options people are able to use to communicate with their friends, making it 100% necessary to team up with up to 5 friends. This is fine if you only have 5 friends that play this game, you're SOL if you have more.

Final verdict: Will continue to play the Overwatch Beta until it expires on Monday, however I will not be purchasing the full game for a very long time.
