Hey guys, is it possible to assign the "\" key to LR2 key config? I've tried many times and gave up.

Simfiles are used with simulators such as Lunatic Rave 2 - a simfile will generally be a folder containing the chart data, keysounds, and background videos of a song.

I'm new to this and have no idea what the pastebin means by "simfiles". What exactly do they add?

The screen you provided me doesn't look like any kind of error I recognize...it would be best if I saw the entire log after you attempt to launch the game, assuming that with what you've said, it doesn't work. Also, it would save a great deal of time and effort if you joined me in the chat since we can exchange ideas a lot quicker and more efficiently. I'm mostly there during the day and evening (pacific time), not too much the afternoon, so you can just hop on by and we can get this thing going.

No problem, man, just helping out a fellow rhythm game enthusiast.
First, use the config.exe to map your buttons.
Then, go to the start menu and type in 'cmd' HOLD ctrl+shift and hit enter - this will allow you to run programs as an admin. from a command line.
Make your way to the folder in which the data is kept (using commands such as 'cd C:\DJHACKERS-LDJ\').
Finally, type in 'bm2dx-keyboard.bat' to run the game.
And that should be all there is to it.

hmmm but which file should i run? i have the launcher.exe, config.exe and the other files, though which command should i use to launch the game? btw these links have been quite useful! Thanks in advance

Hey there Shackur. If you're still kicking around, I can give some advice for setting up Tricoro. First of all, everything's pretty much setup straight out of the box, you don't need to make too many changes. There's a config file for setting buttons and such, so use that. Also, you can check out this link: https://programmedsun.com/bs/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=61 for setting up eamusement. You also need to run the game as an administrator, preferably from a command line. If there's anything else more specific you want to know about, just gimme a shout and I'll help out to the best of my abilities.

Hey i was curious about the Tricoro rip for PC, a month ago there was a rhythm thread on /v/ and a kind anon posted a link for the full tricoro game, i have the files and all that jazz but i don't really remember the instructions on how to launch the game and setting it up. Anyone wanna help?

What? I thought there were links in the pastebin for official files. If those don't work, I can share my copies of those as well. Same goes for themes and whatnot, I've got a pretty good grasp of LR2 (even if I'm not too good at the actual gameplay).

Also, I have no idea where to get offical BMS files. If there is anyway. I'm pretty rusty and I have no clue about anything for LR2

The Bit.Trip games are music based. But not like custom charts or anything like that. It just uses sounds and beats to play the game.

Are there any other games on steam with nice rhythm game/music based elements? I only know of Audiosurf, Beat Hazard and Sequence.

Yep, works for iOS too, the arc leaderboards are different though there's a leaderboard for ios and arc scores combined. No plans on investing time on the arc version ever, i'm busy wasting my money on technika, ddr, and other rhythm games!

So is anyone actually playing Rerave? Maybe we can set up a team and stuff.
