Well, I'm playign whenever I can, but gotta be honest I don't see many people playing, even from this group :P I understand many might be busy irl or playing other games, but ye, just saying.

I have about 300-700 ping on any server I join.

I'd love to have events, but my internet can't handle anything that isn't a local server so I don't think I'd be able to play with people.

I believe that any member can schedeulle events. That was done just to try to have as many active members as we can. Nobody really schedeulled any events, though. At least, not to my knowlege.

Hey guys, I really think we should schedule events anytime soon. I don't see half of the members here playing as much. In fact, I feel like Jaems/James, I don't know half the members here except the ones I invited or have chatted with. So I really wish to make events so that we could get together. Making a group and calling it Revival of the Fittest doesn't do much unless the members are actually active.

Well, for one, make sure to show the fact that L4D1 has more of an apocalyptic feel to it. If anything is worth stressing, that is.

I am going to make a video about Left 4 Dead kinda like an advertisement. Left 4 Dead 2 is great as well, but I need some ideas about why Left 4 Dead is better, to try to get some players to migrate back. As a side note, I think it will help our cause if Steam had a sale for Left 4 Dead for a bit, it'll help convince new players and old ones who've originally played it on a console (like me)

Did all the servers on L4D disapear for anyone else? Theres only a few that are up for me

Going to be trying to get at least 20 minutes on all my survival times on l4d1. Anyone wants to join and help out hit me up.

I'm a troll too. But mostly only to tryhards who think it is funny to kick people out because of one mistake. THOSE are the ones I target.

Also, most of my friends play on pretty bad computers. I, myself, have a decent working computer, but if I'm the only one not lagging, how can I expect to play anything except single player. L4D1 lags alot less then L4D2. There are alot less trolls on L4D1 as well, trolls are the most annoying thing in online games, no1 really cares for them, and they don't realise that no1 is going to rage, just because they ruined 1 whole match lol. When L4D2 came out, all the wannabe trolls moved to that game and L4D1 was left in peace. I find L4D1 has less cartoony graphics, if that makes any sense. L4D2 is too comical, being comical isn't always a bad thing though, which is why L4D1 still adds a bit of laughter to its gameplay. However, L4D2 focuses more on making jokes then making it look like they are in an actual Zombie Apocalypse. Hope this gives you a better feel of my opinion on the games, and the reason I created this group! :) Happy Zombie Hunting!

I prefer L4D1 because it is more of a challenge to me. All the melee weapons on L4D2 make the game far too easy, being able to 1 hit mobs and most special infected. I do like the L4D2 campaign maps a bit more, and I admit melee weapons are really fun to use. But all in all those weapons are cheap and make strategy pointless. Also I find the extra types of special infected on L4D2 kind of cheesy. The spitter is merely a long range boomer with a different effect. The jockey is a new kind of hunter, the charger is a mini-tank. Versus on L4D2 isn't that fun because the spawn time is so small and theres so many different kind of zombies to avoid that it's nearly impossible for some1 to predict what is going to be coming at them. This does contradict my first statement of L4D1 being more of a challenge, but when I said that I was referring to the campaign. Versus is a completely different story, but I find L4D1's versus more fun.

L4D2 makes me feels like I'm in a huge cloud of dust and that is very annoying visually. The game has it's good points, but it's not as solid of a gema like L4D1.

Left 4 Dead has a darker feel to it where as Left 4 Dead 2 is a bit comical.

The only thing I prefer about LFD2 is the workshop, and how easy it makes it to download mods and custom campaigns.

Left 4 Dead 1 is better for a lot of reasons. I'll just write down a few of the reasons.

1. The community is more forgiving than in L4D2, and there are less trolls
2. Simpler, which is often better.
3. No melee timer on campaign, which is balanced by the fact that there are no melee weapons.
4. Requires less RAM, so it runs better on old computers.
5. Has a more apocalyptic feel to it.

There are many more reasons why I like L4D better than L4D2. Those are just a few of them.

Why you think L4D 1 is better than L4D2?... as some of you said... it has already the same maps (and also I'm better at L4D2 LOL... i think .-.)... In my case just bought the bundle... but what's the point then? Leet me hear your thoughts :p

Finally! Got L4D2 downloaded on my own machine... I am the one who made the group, I wish I could play L4D1 atm :/ it's much more fun then L4D2, but I do not have it on this account, and the account I made the group on does not belong to me, so I can not play it yet, I will buy L4D1 soon as possible :) hope to be playing with you all soon, add me to friends list if you're interested in playing at any time during the day that I'm available ;)

We could do that, Josh, it would be hard to get everyone on at the same time though.

Might I suggest Left 4 Dead gaming nights during the weekend and events where you guys attempt to get achievments? Such as the one where you beat all four campaigns on expert, and so on.

There are a lot of qaulity, fun mods out there. Cant remember exactly but there's one in a prison. That should help liven it up a bit.
