Some additional curations have been added this past week with the Godot Engine, Cultist Simulator and Book of Hours

A Brief Update

Just making this post to let anyone who pays attention to this group/curator that it is still active and will be working on adding needed curations. Looks a decent chunk of needed curations is for Nexon's games, since they got review bombed for their conflict with the Dark and Darker developers.

Anyways, I hope you all are doing well and enjoying your games. If you come across any games that have been review bombed but haven't been curated yet, please let me know in the discussion forums.

My Definition

Positive Review Bombing

While it’s always nice to see developers or publisher do charitable things, I do think that it is important for users to know that those instances have affected the review score. Which is why I believe it should be tagged. I also don’t think it is a bad thing to tag as people may want to buy games from charitable developers as a way to show their support.

Negative Review Bombing

This is where I haven’t fully decided where to draw the line on and may be subject to change. I consider it review bombing if a game gets a large enough amount of negative reviews in a short period of time regarding changes around the game. Things like game breaking updates, monetization scheme, taking away good stuff (i.e. nerfing loot drops), adding bad stuff (i.e. adding DRM), pricing changes and DLC practices. I WILL NOT consider negative reviews at launch as review bombing UNLESS its off topic reviews (i.e. if the reviews point out a dev was caught kicking a puppy), usually Valve will flag those reviews anyway.

What types of review bombing I will tag with this curator?

Anything that is Flagged by Valve’s system (so anything that has an “*” next to the review score)
Publicized occurrences as long as they fit into what I consider review bombing (see GTA V or PUBG situations)

If you think there is any other circumstance or situation I should include or exclude please feel free to leave a comment and let me know. If you can make a good point, I will definitely consider it as there are some situations that might be an exception or may change my line of thought.

I just want to say thank you guys and gals for joining the group and helping it get off the ground. We are almost at 100 members and just over 50 followers for the curator page!. That's awesome! If you want to help out more, please follow the curator page!

If you guys have any tips or suggestions feel free to post them in the discussion forums. Over the next few weeks I will be adding rules and organizing the group and curator format more. I appreciate any feedback you guys have.
