It's been several years but we finally have a server again. :D

This time it's a public server.
Thatsssss right! No more password to get in!

Let's have an Event!

Hey guys!

It's been quiet for the past 2 months and now it's time to change that!

The Randomizers will be hosting a tournament for L4D2!

To start, here's how it will play out:

People can sign up to be a Captain.
Once approved, the Captain then finds 3 others for their team.
Each team HAS to have 4 people to compete, and each person playing can only belong to 1 team.
The team also must come up with a group name.

Once I have enough people, I'll set up brackets and match times.
-
This event is open for the whole Randomizers group.
The only condition is the Captain of the team has to be a Randomizer member.
However, the 3 teammates do not have to be members to join a team.
Finally a person cannot commit to someone's team until that person is a CONFIRMED captain.

As for scheduling games.

What days would be best for you guys?

I know weekends are going to be the main picks, what at what times would be the best? Should I post a game a day? etc.
That and timezones, we could choose a timezone and stick to that one. Probably the most popular one.

Once I get all of that sorted, I'll post up the summer schedule. C:

That and would anyone be interested in us getting a TF2 server again? If you are, would you be willing to donate for the summer?

Since most people in this group have a deviantart account, it made HUGE sense to start a branch group over there.

So now if you miss game updates or event announcements here, you can always catch them on our dA group account!

Weekly Weekend Summer Events!

I was talking to some friends about having some weekly weekend events this summer. The idea of it sounded great so I figured about getting some feedback here.

I need ideas for events. Anything can work as long as the game is multiplayer. (I.E. left4dead, team fortress 2, etc)

If I get enough response to this I'll mark out a schedule for the whole summer, making sure there's something to do every weekend.

Heck we could also give away some prizes towards the end of the season too! (possibly, depends if people would like to help with this.) XD

So give me your opinion on this. ;D

I don't really want to do this, but this is the last month the TF2 server will be open.

I would love to keep it going for the rest of the year, but I seriously can't afford it.

So get your games in while you can.

Heh, well I let the cat out of the bag earlier today, but I got everyone a gift.

I got us a TF2 server to play on. C:

It's not currently up and running atm, but it should be running later this weekend.

I'll post details for when it's up.
