New Mumble Info (July 29 2019)

Our Mumble provider is closing up shop.

We have migrated to a new host.

Address: randomgamersnetwork.ddns.net
Pass: #bang@kitty
Port: 64738

Please note, the new host is using an incredibly simplified version (uMurmur).
We will have limited abilities compared to our previous hosts.

Things like Admin abilities and automatic movement from channels will be non-functioning.

Please let me know if you encounter any issues.

Tanjuu has created a Mumble server that we can use.

The new info is as follows:

IP: 199.180.249.90
Port: 64738
Password: #bang@kitty

This server is completely CLI based and may take me a bit longer to figure out issues and update to newer versions.

Let me know if you see anything wrong or encounter any bugs.

Mumble has been down for about a week now. The server host has been unresponsive to my requests. We are temporary using Discord until we find a better alternative.

New Chat Program?

Several members (as well as some other people outside of RGN) have recommended a new VOIP program, Discord. Which is free and even has an online widget where the user doesn't need to download the program. Our Mumble rental runs out in November and I was just curious on everyone’s opinion. Discord appears to have a similar permissions system to Mumble so we can designate Mods.

I'd like to get a few opinions as this seems to the new VOIP program that many are using.

Lastly, Mumble is inexpensive enough that I do not mind continuing to pay for and this is in no way a financial problem ;)

New Minecraft server up!

I've setup a Minecraft server for anyone interested. Long and I are still not sure which modpack to use but until then, we are using Bevos

-Use ATLauncher
-Use Bevo's Tech Pack
-Go to "71.75.250.253:25565"

Also, don't expect too much from the server, its running on a pitiful dual-core.

Offline Mumble User Tracker... thing

Figured out a way to see all users who are connected to Mumble without requiring you to login. Useful if you want to see if your buddy is on.
