I'm having a big problem with Train Simulator (TS). I needed to uninstall the game and install it again. After doing this it does not open anymore. I've tried the support without result. I've had this game for a long time on this same computer and it's never been a problem. Can anyone help me with this?

Has anyone played the Donner Pass Southern Pacific West Slope Oil Cans yet? I got about 1/2way and noticed 3 signals doing some magic by appearing to float in midair without the necessary support structure that is needed to get them up and over the tracks.

Ok, this may be common for others too but in the store whenever there is a new train or item sometimes the scroll bar glitches and teleports off the screen and a lot of images dont load

did anyone else find a tutorial for steam operation?? I have TS-2014 and it doesn't say "Steam Edition on the front. Just Train Simulator. Tell me which route or add-on I would need to get a "steam loco" tutorial.

Ok. I started up the game and looked into this issue at the moment. I have 3 routes listed under the Cajon Pass and they are BNSF1 Cement Snoot, Dont Stop Moving, Free Roa, San Bernandino. Under the other one which does not have a grouping there is 2 BNSF1 Against the Grain andFree Roam Monument. So when I try and select either 1 of these 2, that is when I get taken to the store.

Yes I did. On one side it shows the Cajon Pass. But on the other side it shows a blank silouette of what appears to be a European style loco. I would like to get the appropriate addon without wasting time and money by buying the wrong ones. I like the game, but I have to limit myself for the moment.

I have learned that some Routes have a little bug but I found out that if you F2 and save it it will work without crashing.

mdias have you tried to use the Tab key to see if it changes the light? Try it and let me know if it worked.

When you click on the item scroll down and it will tell you what Route you need to play the add-on with.

I am looking for some help here. I am finding the braking controls on the Class 66 to be something of a mystery. I don't get much speed reduction unless I go into emergency. Not sure how to release the brakes either. Seems I have stumbled across pulling down on the lever until I hear air escaping. ....

I haven't had any troubles with any of the other locos in my German, UK, and US collection.

Has anyone bought the ES44AC/SD40-2 BNSF dlc addon for the Train Simulator 2014? Have you tried to play it? The reason I ask is this, when I bought the dlc and tried to play it, it kept taking me to the store. The only problem is, it is not telling me which addon I will need to purchase in order to get this to run. To bad the description for this addon does not forewarn you about this.

Hi all, I have got a small problem. I have tried many attempts but I cannot complete the follwing scnario. "Oil and Coal" scenario in Castle Rock Railroad with Dash 9-44CW. You take the consist from Larkspur yard and heading to Monument Reception. It never changes the dwarf signal to amber or green or never allows to enter the main line. Has anyone got any idea??

I had a problem with my hard drive and had to replace it. Now I need to reload TS2014, But how can i do this without having to repurchase the game? This time I want to download it directly to a blank dvd in order to prevent this from happening again. That is then I can start playing the game again.

MSTS and Railworks are not even closely the same. It could be very hard to convert MSTS files to RW... Mybe it exist, but all things wouldn't load properly.

Has anyone ever tried to add freebie routes designed for MSTS to Train Simulator 2013 or 2014? Also, I would like to know how I can bypass the programmed build section in order to design a fictional route or routes.

Here is a question for someone more knowledgeable. Has the Shay, Heisler, Climax, and the Garratt locomotives ever been done? If so, where can these locos be obtained if they have been modeled?

Well, here is an idea. What going over the back issues of Model Railroader and doing some of the shelf layouts from it. Such as the layout from the Dec. 1939 or the Jan. 1977. I can provide other dates if people want to look. There was an article that talked about the West Junction located on the west side of Milwaukee that would be interesting to do.
