Does anyone know about the RAILROAD TYCOON 3 mod from Trainmaster?

Installation worked. You can also get to the main menu. But as soon as a game wants to start, the game closes and you end up back on the desktop without an error message...

Hey, I really love this game, but I'm not sure if it's worth buying it just to replay the campaigns again - does the Multiplayer work and are there people (preferably in Europe :)) who'd like to..ahem..cross tracks? :D
