Just that the site is taking sponsored content that's being put into the regular feed. It's clearly labeled, but trash is still trash and it makes the site feel unserious. It's not as invasive as Christian's infamous tech deals, but who knows how long that will last or what shape it'll take. At least they left the comments on, so I imagine it's a way for RPS to show the suits that we don't want that ♥♥♥♥.

I've added a second forum for WAWAPTW type threads so that we can have a one-per-weekend dedicated space for conversations and see how they go, and posted a first weekend so we've got something to start us off.

After completely failing to meaningfully interact with anyone in last week's WAWAPTW, I just wrote my own complaint in this week's thread instead of saying anything about, you know, what I'm actually playing. Pissing in the wind, I know, but...

I appear to have stumbled upon a den of deviants. I am scared and secretly scintillated.

It certainly is easy to throw an article link in Reddit and have it presented nicely ready for comments. It just seemed like it wasn't going to serve much purpose unless multiple people were going to monitor RPS around the clock and provide timely links to articles, I had a vague log term plan of flagging posts as News, Reviews etc. but it starts to sound like too much work to reproduce the format of a site that already exists. I think if you want an article specific topic here just fire one off.

Now if anyone can figure out a way to create a thread per RPS article, this would make for a poor man's comment section.

I know, I lobbied against reddit, but the one advantage there would have been branching threads.

Hey! Glad to see this become a thing, thanks for setting it up--I was willing to try and do reddit for the sake of the outpost there, but the fact I already use this app does make a positive difference. It's frankly easier to check in on an app I already use than to set up with a new one... especially when I wasted my primary email on the apparently unchangeable auto-assigned reddit ID "medical baby."
