I've just scheduled a game for 7pm on Saturday 20th June. Who's available?

Would anyone be interested in playing these games again when Waterloo is released? I'm pretty hot for Napoleonic warfare, so I'd love to give this another whirl at some point in the future.

Hi dreaming_lad. We impose a limit on how far you can roam from your general and we insist on only communicating with each other via couriers, but other than that you're left to lead your men as you see fit (although we frown on obviously gamey tactics).

We'll try to get a game going tonight, feel free to drop by (we'll be in chat).

Hullo there, I'm intrigued by this multiplayer lark. I'm only three scenarios into the main campaign though and have never tried HQ in the saddle. Is there a way I can play with a dinky force obeying your every whim? Do you entirely 'hits' or do TC as well?

Check out the latest beta patch 1.4026. So far it seems the courier bug has been solved with it! http://www.norbsoftdev.net/forum/technical-help-a-bug-post/43899-beta-14026

Just A quick hello, got the game yesterday, but have played TC2M and SM's Gettysburg, also watched both Gettysburg and Gods and Generals, Stephen Lang as Pickett and Jackson just brilliant. Hope to join you for a game on Monday.

...cannon. My casualties spiked from ~200 to almost 600!

The timer was set to 4 hours, so after routing the Union troops continually, we decided we had won. We had won a massive victory, 2700 points even though the Federals outnumbered us by 600 men! We did have an advantage in artillery though, and that made the difference for my brigade at at least one instance.

It was a glorious battle, it didn't crash and I got to test out how to host. Next time the settings will be tweaked a little better, and I'm also starting to feel ready for a division command.

Well, me, d.kaufman and Kelron had a game last night.

Kelron was in command of the division while me and kaufman had a brigade each.
It was my first time hosting, so the settings weren't optimal. View range was set to 20-30 so it was hard to get the big picture.
Anyway, Kelron ordered me to take Stony Hill in support of our artillery. After taking the hill, I discovered Federal troops about 500 yards in front of me, and began some probing attacks. We both had stone walls for cover along most of the line, so it was a hard drawn out battle. A few well placed artillery shots and the timely flanking of kaufman's brigade sent the yankees runnin'.

After this victory my brigade pushed slowly forward across the large fields next to Group Farm and J. Welkert Farm. Using the stone walls and fences to our advantage we easily pushed the union troops back.

The bluecoats reformed for a last stand next to their artillery at the map's edge. Desperate charges ensued and we captured most of their ca
