Hey everyone,

I'm just hijacking this group really quickly to let you guys know about the TF2Maps.net 72hr Jam. Over the year's our 72hr events have become wildly popular with the last one producing nearly 70 maps for TF2 player's to enjoy.

This time we're trying something different and getting content-creators of all walks involved. If you're a mapper, artist, moddler, youtuber, or just want to to get involved you should take head over to take a look at the event page[tf2maps.net]

Hopefully we could even see some new PropHunt maps! If you'd like to test a map for PropHunt in conjunction with this event, give me a poke and I'll try and hook you up with a server to test on, and players to test with.

I keep forgetting to post this, but if you're seeing server crashes on PropHunt, update TF2Items to TF2Items 1.6.4[builds.limetech.org] or newer.

There's a new version of PropHunt Redux out.

If you are using PropHunt Redux, I strongly encourage updating to this version as it fixes both a team switch issues and a crashing issue if you're using the DHooks extension. It also includes new configurations for the Gun Mettle weapons.

You can grab the newest version from the 3.3.3 Release page[github.com].

Note: The PropHunt Redux Server Setup guide has also been updated with PropHunt Redux 3.3.3... as well as some new and updated maps.

Hi everybody,

Here's what you need to get your PropHunt server up and running properly after today's update:

• TF2Items 1.6.2[builds.limetech.org]. As of this writing, build 270 is the newest.
  
• An updated PropHunt gamedata file[raw.githubusercontent.com]. This fixes team switching not working.
  
• A new PropHunt configuration file[raw.githubusercontent.com]. This fixes the new weapons not following the normal PropHunt rules.
  
• TF2Attributes may need to be disabled until it has new gamedata. While PropHunt Redux supports it, it is only used for fall damage support and PropHunt Redux will fall back to a different method if it is disabled.

I will repackage PropHunt Redux over the weekend to include the new gamedata and configuration file by default.

Hi PropHunt server owners,

Tuesday's update apparently broke the TF2Items extension. If you are running PropHunt Redux, a new version[builds.limetech.org] of TF2Items is required.

Additionally, I've been hearing that the SourceMod 1.6.x GameData has not been updated for changes to critical hit detection. PropHunt uses this to do both the Flamethrower flying effect and the self-damage effect.

SourceMod 1.7.0 seems to work fine for PropHunt servers.
