Just some previews of the engine so far. They're all under 3MB each and don't have sound; so they're chan-friendly.

4chan post fetcher

Programmerguy here.

Did something kind of cool last night and today. I put together a little system in the engine that allows us to fetch posts directly from 4chan in real time and display them in game for any use.

For now, I made a simple background for the main menu of the game that just fetches 10 random posts from a random board and scrolls through them, then fetches 10 more and scrolls through those, etc. In the future, you could imagine something like a billboard in the background being an actual post from 4chan of the board of the world you're in; or maybe an attack being based around certain posts.

Engine Preview

We put together a couple little webms of the engine; showing off some of the shaders I programmed. Also some jumping around and attacking.

Keep in mind that basically every single graphic you see on the screen is placeholder, or in-progress work. Nothing here is final.

Calling all /a/nons!

After having a poll on /v/ last Friday it appears that /a/ is now next in development, and we need your help to make sure that /a/ is tailored to your liking.
