A pro-lifer is one who is for life, that is, one who seeks to protect innocent human life from being taken away, and one that promotes the dignity of every human person. This includes, but is not limited to, opposition to abortion, which we consider as murder, and euthenaisa, as well as artificial contraception, which prevents the chance of conception and therefore goes against life. There are some who consider other issues to be pro-life issues, mainly the death penalty (I do not think it applies under the definition- but that's a disscussion for another day). Does that help?
