It seems things have started to get better. 3 of the reactors at the Fukushima-1 plant have reached cold shutdown, and the others are being flooded with seawater to regulate core temprature until the coolant systems can be re-activated.
As well, the Japanese have rapidly begun to repair their infrastructure, allowing emergency relief to get around. So things do seem to be improving, atleast from what I can tell.
The Power plants are... still spewing radiation.
