I'm sure you will not see this but sadly this tech was not Valve's rather a seperate company called sixense as per the name that never really pushed this tech forward.

Is there any way we could campaign Valve to support the Hydra via Steam Input (for non-VR use)? Would really ease the creation of new control layouts, and being able to share setups would be fantastic.

The hydra version, I believe, requires you to enter a code that comes with a unit. Or a serial number. I believe it's a bit of a rough process these days.

Hey Skim, I believe you can remap hydra controls for pretty much any of the compatible games via the sixense control software.

I know this is years after the fact, but I can't find info on this anywhere. Does anyone who played the game with the Razer Hydra years ago know if there was anyway to control the camera with the right analog stick (as opposed to the on screen floating cursor moving the camera when it got close to the edge)?

My question goes for Team Fortress 2 as well, I'm looking for games that had proper Hydra integrated supported and allowed your cursor to float across the screen, but still allowed you to control camera swing with the right joystick. If anyone sees this and can help me out, I'd appreciate it immensely, my brain is obsessed with this one control scheme that seemingly no game in the world has ever had.

Um, I have a slight problem but it's not related to portal 2. I have been attempting to install Sixense SDK for over a month now and haven't had any luck. I use windows 64x, when i open install.py it asks for my operating system. I click Win(64x) and then it says 'Target operating system not supported. I've seen plenty of youtube clips with people using Sixense SDK on windows. please help me

can someone help? when i reach out using ONE-TO-ONE, once i enter ONE-TO-ONE mode, my view keeps turning to the right and i can't control the portal gun. any help?

Went to the Sixense forum for help. They sent me an additonal file which cleared it right up. They should include it with the next patch for anyone else that has trouble. Seems to be an issue with XP.

Validating always returns the same error. Three broken files identified, it gets new copies, but still broken. Did a full install from the web after deleting the entire Portal 2 folder, also nothing. Not sure how I'd go about doing a different region install.

Did you try another D-Load region? Did you validate your files? Did you try to re-install it completely from scratch?

Great, DLC is completely freaking useless. Can't even run the game with it in the game folder. Can't seem to fix it, either. Anyone else get soemthing similar?
