The Legendary Equestrian Knights Open Beta is right around the corner

Open Beta will launch today, April 15th, at 10 AM, PST

Players who join the server during this event, will be granted the Beta Tester rank. This rank will give players certain perks once the server is fully functional.

Guessed you're all surprised of this sudden ping. So I'll try to keep it brief.

As some may have noticed, some time ago this Discord server was renamed to "Pon3 & Friends", due to the fact that it's been years since we last had a server to play on.

At some point there was this idea of migrating over to Minecraft, and for some time we did, but eventually due to little interest as well as other personal factors from the team, it was shut down permanently.

And that was the end of the Legendary Equestrian Knights forever.......

Or at least, that's what everyone must've thought.....except for me

Some may have already noticed that the server has been renamed to it's original title

A few weeks ago, while doing my regular day-to-day activities, I looked into some Gmod Pony Server groups; comments from people wanting to have fun again, like the old days. Some even messaging/commenting on unifying separate communities into one great group.

So that's when the idea hit me. I simply thought of the chance of doing it again. Creating our "little place to call home" once again. Then I just thought:

Eh, why not? What's the worse that could happen?

So, at that moment, I rushed over, ripped my wallet apart and pulled that magic plastic rectangle-shaped instrument that allows you to acquire goods from the comfort of your home (aka a Credit Card) and did what was needed.


And this time, I don't plan on giving up this dream

OOOOr, until Gmod is shut down entirely, or my financial situation crumbles to bits. Whichever comes first.

Our server is currently up. But we're still setting things nicely:

• Choosing the proper addons that'll make the server fun and entertaining
  
• Making sure the selected addons do not cause issues or lua errors.
  
• Choosing the appropriate Main Map
  
• Choosing optional maps, when -if requested by many- could be changed by vote.
  
• Setting up all the ranks.

So, I know that some of you are already eager to know when you'll join, and that's exactly the reason of this post.


What do you mean by Beta?

So, we are currently doing the fishing changes and touches to the server. However we're unsure of how it runs, unless we have several players checking it out. And that's where YOU -our beloved community- come in. We want you to test out our server and helps us with any changes/balancing/fixing that may be needed.

Those who participate during this Public Beta Testing will be rewarded with the rank (and role in Discord) of Beta Tester, and will have access to certain exclusives and perks that will be on our server.

We will be announcing it on this group and on our Discord Server (we'll attach an invite to our Discord at the bottom of this post), along with the console command, for direct connection -instead of having to search it on the browser-.

Also, we'll be throwing out some info on stuff and features that our server will have.

So, be ready and on the lookout on April 14th for that post. See you there everyone.

Right now our server is in BETA TEST MODE. Meaning that it's not open at the time.

Once the server is fully stable and operational, we'll open the door for everyone.
