Take a gander through the comments, specifically those from the "developer". Keep in mind this is also a resubmission; the first time was perhaps even more ridiculous but I never saved it because, well, I didn't think I was going to ever need it. He wanted my head on a stick the first time, but was more level-headed with me on the resubmission.

I don't think I've ever seen a more chaotic and melodramatic display on Steam. I dont know how he chooses which posts to attack and which posts to delete. I actually kinda dislike mentioning it because I feel bad for the guy, but that kind of behavior just doesn't fly on a professional storefront.

If you didn't know, this guy is a complete immature person. He had a tantrum in another topic, calling everyone slave and cussing at people. Not to mention that his very own game had stolen door sound effects from doom, the last time I've checked.

The game is a mess. Jason has put on his "I don't give a ♥♥♥♥ anymore" hat. The game uses copyrighted songs (Mad world, Thriller, Chicken dance), blinding particle effects, and lastly in the middle of 'serious' cutscenes they do silly little dances complete with silly songs.

14:15 of the AllShamNoWow video Mark bursts into the chicken dance in the middle of a conversation with an NPC... no context it just happens... and then he holds a conversation like nothing happened.

15:12 of the video Mark breaks the fourth wall and inquires who wrote the script.

16:58 Mark says to the viewer (or npc) 'This is a crap game and you know it I'm the main character and I don't even want to be in it'

@Foz I heard Smed's finally gone at least. I dont know who, if anyone's, taken over yet though.

I just googled that Smedley SOE. I only deal with indie/steam devs. Though the game recommendation queue is actually available to all members. So, if you have issues you're free to state them to the populace. I just give cliffnotes really...

@Crimson can you add Blizzard and SOE to your list of shoddy developers please. They are about as bad as they come when its comes to censorship. Actuaally any company dumb enough to hire Smedley.

Typically, whenever a developer is criticized or questioned about something and they resort to avoiding the question or just simply deleting and banning, they themselves become questionable. Especially when asked simple questions about assets in the game, or a bad review, and so on. This in the face of no one breaking any Steam discussion rules.

It's based on their business practices. The whole point is to keep them from trying to scam people into buying their products or putting them on the storefront.

I am a bit confused. Some of these developers haven't even released games yet. How are they shoddy, when we've not experienced the product?

If PanzerGamingStudios sold their games for like $1 - $3 I doubt anyone would have a problem with them. Cheap Games sell fast as especially during steam sales and since it's a lower price less people would refund. Many devs enter steam with delusions of grandeur... I believe Time Ramesside, Sacred Stone, and X-17 would have made enough to fund a pet project and as such he could have avoided scamming (since he's using assets anyway) and did a bigger -or- a smaller project with an actual budget.

I'm not really a fan of shovelware, if people drop their ego and actually came to others honest alot of people would be more caring/ accepting. Then again, I'm ignoring the fact that Jason is actively trying to scam everyone... his "demo reel" was targeted at beginner developers and all. Ugggh, why... I want to believe in humanity, but they keep letting me down.

*Deletes last comment* Ugh... nevermind it was just steam's comment system messing up. The dev did delete comments, but they were in my eyes comments that had nothing to do with the game and therefore justified. *Kicks pebble in boredom* Well, I guess I'll call it a day then.

Great group! Good to have around. And to shoddy devs who would read this; The internet at large is not stupid. You WILL get called out for bad practices. Someone is going to take notice. Your quick grabs for cash will just end in disaster.

Haha... Klace seems to be an interesting guy. One minute of searching and I find out that he's stolen someone's IP and refused to pay royalties. This is incedibly interesting. His game isn't unappealing, but he's most certainly a scumbag for that.

Ever since refunds became a thing his threat level has went down, but he's still one of the worst developers on steam for me. I'll do a write up tomorrow when I get the time.
