Ive just changed the nameservers but they can take up to 24 hrs to point www.pc-forums.co.uk to the new webspace.
In the meantime you can use this temp address
http://81.19.186.2/~pcforums/
Thing will appear a little bland ATM, but I'll be working hard to get all the bits and peices we had before re-installed
Thanks all for your support.
Onwards and upwards from here!
Delete soundcard drivers in Device Manager. Reboot.
Download and reinstall latest drivers. Reboot.
Delete config_mp file from the Steamapps/common/players folder. Reboot. Load the game. It may not want to load so Ctrl/Ald/Delete and stop it in Task Manager and then try again.
Bear in mind both Falcs and I had tweaked our config_mp file using the Steam forum tweaks listed on this forum. I've no idea if this will work if the config_mp file is still unmodified in any way. I wonder if deleting it forced some form of update.
