♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ i would do anything to have you guys back by now

Havent been able to find one that comes close either, community servers are at an all time low so its hard to find quality nowadays

OzzyFurocity had the best VHS mode. I try other VHS modes and its just not the same.
Does anyone know of any VHS servers that closely resemble what Ozfur had?

It's a real shame the remake was closed source. It's a massive shame it wasn't made open source after the servers closed down.

I was thinking about TF2 and this community recently. Thought I'd look up the name and found this group. I used to play back between 2010-2015, lost contact with so many people, but I still have the memories. <3 Hopefully we'll see good community servers again one day.

I miss ozfur.. I have faint memories playing it when I was a kid. I remember being an admin for it and using hax0r trixie. Good ol' times.. too bad its gone. If there were files I could download to make an almost exact replica of ozfur I would.. I have all the money to re-make the entire server but too bad they didn't make their files public. I wish I could go back in time and relive those memories again

Does anyone know if the creator of VS. Saxton Hale remake is still available somewhere? I haven't seen any discussion about the remake of the popular gamemode that exclusive only to their servers. That's some lost media that I would die to archive.

Nostalgia brought me back poking around. Good to see some people still kicking around! That's kinda neat. Perhaps one day.

I was in the Ozzy Furocity West steamgroup but that one seems to have been deleted long ago.
All the best times I had in TF2 were with you guys, you were always kind, helpful, funny, and you have my thanks for everything. I never even knew about OFc ending four years ago, and it's sad to hear. I hope your real lives are going well.

It's great to see people still come back to this page and leave comments reminiscing of old memories, even after all this time has past. We still miss you, but we will remember you.

All these years later and nothing as good as ozfur servers have shown up. I sorely miss the time spent on OzFur.

I honestly stopped playing after OzFur went down, mostly because I hadn't found another server that was quite like the vSH we had on here but I spent a good amount of time on the 24/7 2fort server, too. :V

I dearly miss the TF2 portion of this community. I spent almost all of my first 2000 hours of TF2 playing Ozfur's Saxton Hale Remake. The people there were welcoming and friendly. Real life conversations went on. I haven't joined a community since that made me feel as connected as Ozfur did. Five years ago feels farther away than it should. I wish I could go back in time. The Wayback Machine is all I have left to look back at old memories, and I feel compelled to tear up sometimes when I look through introduction posts of people I knew.

The Ozfur Mariokart server I'd say was my favorite time period of gaming in my life. I played on that server every day I could for at least an hour for around two years. Loved every day of this and the community was generally awesome. It was a huge shame how the community split apart everywhere after the shutdown but I'll always do my best to remember as much of those times as I could.

If somebody could get the community back together on a replicate of this server for a week, it'd make my year.

For all of those of you who knew me back then, I'd like to thank you again for the amount of fun we all had together (Looking at you, Letter), and wish you the best of luck with your lives.

Did everyone move over to a specific community server, or did the community spread?

I remember these servers so well. Some of my best memories were shared on these servers with my most closest friends. Granted, I'd get in trouble for spawn trapping as sniper all the time, but the experinece of those MarioKart servers changed my life for the better forever. Amazing community you had, Leon. I'd be a blessing to relive some memories.

Almost 2019, I played on these servers all the way back in like 2014-2015, I met a number of my closest friends on there. I was still in grade school at the time and just entering high school, now I'm in college. I'd love for the servers to come back, I miss the old mariokart games.

I feel the same, i miss the old DR and VSH servers, especially all the mods and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ amaz hales they had. Hopefully they didn't delete their assets and all. I'd play nearly everyday probably.

I miss this community, so, so much. Last time I remember was a few weeks before it disbanded in early 2016. I'd dearly love for servers to come back, and for everyone to play like they used to. Hats off to anyone who remembers these times.

If the servers come back to TF2, so am I. I missed this community and it's modes so much over the past few years. Like Yeebo, I spent half my hours playing on VSH Remake and Huntsman Hell (although sadly that mode didn't take off)

I'm so glad that the group popped back up, it's very nostalgic setting my primary steam group back to it!

Thanks for hosting VSH Remake! I spent at least 50% of my Team Fortress hours playing the gamemode on your servers!

I remember recurring players such as Shift Pixel, Sky Wolf, Vercci, and Verde, when we went crazy after SolarFlare accidentally typed "s" into the global chat, when Verde spent who knows how much on Pile o' Gifts (Thank you so much for giving everyone numerous gifts whenever you joined the server, I even managed to get a Bonk Boy from one of the drops), and when we spent our time running around such memorable maps like vsh_crevice and vsh_oilrig.

I tried to play VSH after the servers went down, but it just didn't hold up. The maps weren't good, the boss pool was the original 4 characters and the last stands were absolute garbage.

So, thank you. Thanks for spending time and money hosting the best servers I've ever played on. Thanks for putting your own personality into the VSH gamemode. OzFur always had a fantastic community, and I haven't had an experience even close to it since.
