Yeah. And you can adjust the size of the particle by editing the parameters in particle editor. Also applies to range of the flare etc.

I have encountered a problematic situation. I have used a model that is an edited version of a TF2 merc. In this case I mean the maskless spy model. However this model was not availible on workshop, so I had to download it from a non-workshop source. Now that I am using the model, do I need to ask a specific permission of the creator in this case? Would using it and only crediting and linking be enough? Is the usage without a permission against the rules?

I have read the rules but I am still a bit unsure. This is urgent so please, any relevant information is appreciated.

I have been trying to apply $selfillum to a model of mine. I think I have done everything right but it just wont work. My model was made in blender 2.69 and it is a very low poly one (56 tris). I have made a model before with selfillum and it has worked well, using the identical kind of .vmt commands as the current one. But on the contrary this current one I am trying to apply $selfillum to just won't.

My .vmt code for the model:

Lemme guess. You had $model tag actually twice in the .qc? One normal $model and one shape key $model.

I have made a model that I am going to compile for SFM. Now I have about 64K tris in it, so I'd like to ask that is that kind of an amount too much for the compiler and/or sfm itself?

Should I decimate it a bit?
