Yeah no 100% with you, Toby Fox is ruining the game. Narcissist shoehorning his OC and undertale into everything is disgusting. The music didn't even bother trying to match the original whatsoever except for a few tracks.
Somehow the only tracks I find myself disliking let alone despising are all of Toby's.

MFW all the recognisable qualities that made off what it is are now gone

Seeing OFF being released on Steam has rendered me into nigh euphoria. Additionally, seeing the game being given extra status in recent times is dope--mostly for the fact that it is more accessible for people everywhere.

That is a good point, OFF does get it's distinction from most other RPG Maker games in terms of art style--monochrome and cartoonish--and elements. By "elements," I am talking about stuff that is not really present in other games in the genre, like waiting to attack and a focus on surrealism.

Other than that, nothing else in mind comes from me.

The thing is that the age of the game is what gives it its atmosphere
makign the graphics "look better" goes against the point esp since the whole game is about minimalism

I don't think the game even needs any changes aside from replacing the current in-game music with the album versions which is incredibly easy, or adding those few unused/prototype tracks somewhere which is also incredibly easy.

The balance has always been fine except for around the final fight. Batter & Judge all feel so strong in your hands but so weak against you, that would benefit from a change that turns it into an actual full-length and meaningful fight like Japhet's. I get the Queen's supposed to be the true final boss, but, y'know :U

Other than that, a few more moves added to the boss's rosters so they aren't just using the same 2 moves with the occasional 3rd and 4th thrown in there.
If I had the motivation and skill/knowledge, I'd have made a proper remaster myself years ago, but I feel like that would be tainting what I feel is already a perfect game.

I get that I am a juh-billion years late to respond, you are right; OFF getting a remastered version would be sick. In fact, I am pretty sure there is already one--or at least a more modern--remake of the game called "OFF+". Though, I do not know where to download it, so I wish luck to you and everyone else here.

Hope some day someone will make a remaster and introduce the game to more people

Still wish Mortis Ghost would put the game on Steam, i feel like it'd get a little revival.

While it is unfortunate that some people skip that section in Rainy Day, I understand that some people may not find the swishing and swashing of raw meat to be audibly appealing.

I feel bad whenever I listen to Rainy day and skip the meat part. Never skip the meat part ;(
