Uh, hi. Do you guys still play any BF? I saw it going for chips in the Steam sale. Seeing as I'm without use of a card, I thought I'd let anyone who feels particularly generous/interested in being able to play something all together without waiting 20 years for a 6 person server know.

P.S I'm likely going to be on a loooong road trip down the East Coast sometime fairly soon, so I may actually be able to pay you back!

L4D runs smoother than a baby's bottom. However, I uninstalled KF for a bit. Might be able to download it again tonight. Looks like Piss might just be back in business, boyos.

I can play Killing Floor! Hooray! Apart from some seemingly arbitrary crashes, it works like a charm. It looks like the crashes are a RAM thing too, so it should be fixed in due process. Yaaay.

FIXED SOUND DRIVERS. Windows was installng software to ♥♥♥♥ it up, had to manually disable the bus and all kinds of nasty. However, this bloody thing's still slower than a turtle with dementia. To start off, I'm gonna run a full MBAM/HiJackThis combo scan to see if it's simply any malicious ♥♥♥♥ directly attacking. Honestly though, I get the feeling Killing Floor has found a way to crash my ♥♥♥♥. Worst case scenario, I have to find why it might do that and find the willpower to fix it. Probably via inclination to appreciate Seto's charity. You generous wog, you!

If you didn't realise i was gone, i'm back now. my old computer shat itself and K.O'd so i got a new one. all good now.

Having to reset because Killing Floor froze my rig has bombed my computer. It's going slower than a cement wall. Just typing this took roughly 20 minutes. Really not sure how I can fix this, or even if I can play games on my machine. I really don't want to try without a reason, seeing as how I might have to reset again and potentially further damge the computer.

If avatars weren't around, ♥♥♥♥'d be pretty confusing around here.

Oh, also - Hero, Tam had a point. Might be beneficial to put something that acknowledges that I Never Had A Bike Without Training Wheels 2: Grenades of the Rising Sun means MW2. However, putting "ISDFAL2:CG = MW2" would look like quite the cheapshot and imply that is your opinion of the game. Considering that the game is in your Steam collection, it wouldn't look very good to someone interested enough to read the page.

How about "(Piss comes up with many names for MW2)" under "~Piss"?. It takes a stance of neautrality on your part AND makes my pants swell greatly. It clears things up quite nicely and I would certainly appreciate it. Chairs.

Status report:

Well, I've been able to remove some things manually with Hijackthis, though to do a thorough fix I'd need to manually google every single file. Seems to be roughly an add/remove software function that doesn't always remove what's selected. Going to investigate MBAM.

AVG and spybot are pretty awesome, trend micro is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ horrible.

Everything I suggested is legitimate, I have no idea why you would use illegal antivirus/malware stuff or if it even exists.

well u could go with those but i just use legti ♥♥♥♥ like trend micro and klapspersky those two pretty much are the best otherwise tamnunshin covers it pretty well

MBAM, Hijackthis, spybot, avg. pretty much covers everything you could possibly get on your computer.

The spyware, adware and other ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ on my rig has reached a point where it interferes with the whole two things I use it for considerably. If anybody has any good, working protections system they wouldn't mind sharing with the class, I'd really appreciate a hand. If not, I'll be away for a while as the protection ♥♥♥♥ I use absolutely ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ trashes Steam.

P.S I'll be away over the weekend.

Cubis, it was one of my friends, it was ages ago and she never plays it otherwise. It was crash course. And i still believe NMK is a group of friends and little else right now.
