So we've managed to have a weekly gathering on Friday nights for about 3 weeks now. The turn out has ranged from decent to pretty good.

I didn't learn about this group until I ran into one of its members in-game. We've been cooridinating gatherings through word of mouth and two other Steam groups. Perhaps if the members here in general could start events (requires mod powers of some sort), we'd can coordinate games through this group too, which would be awesome considering its large membership.

Please take a leaf from Science and Industry Community group. S&I was one of the earliest mods for Half-life and it is still played today, once or twice every week. What they do is send out a message on steam inviting people to play and there is always 3-4 players who *always* show up and seed the game.
