No, I do not believe so - as the 102nd was immediately recalled the following year, after the return of Blight to England and the arrival of the 73rd. Some individuals, however, are referred to as joining the 102nd - retrospectively - when records indicate that they did in fact join the original N.S.W Corps and remained in the Regiment after it was reformed. Almost a 'damnatio memoriae', in my opinion.

Actually, according to Reel 6037; SZ993 p.103 of the State Records of New South Wales, the 102nd was not formed until the arrival of orders in August 1809 that the Corps be re-numbered as the 102nd Regiment.

We are the original NSW Corps before the Rum Rebellion. We are not the 102nd Regiment of Foot which was formed in 1808
