guys, Bad News, LEFT 4 DEAD 3've BEEN ANNOUNCED

Well on Xbox l4d is very limited no mods such as sounds or textures or anything else and DLC costs money and that's why they would make a 3

Well L4D3 is being announced on the 21st at Gamecom so hopefully they put some very New stuff besides new maps characters and weapons. Maybe even new features and gameplay.

When Left 4 Dead 3 is released it will no doubt be with the long awaited Source 2 engine. This would be the only reason Valve would release a new version of the game. The Source game engine was released June 2004 and is long overdue for an upgrade. The unreal game engine has been overhauled a few times during this period. Compare the graphics between Counter Strike and Counter Strike source, Half Life and Half Life 2 (source), Day of Defeat and Day of Defeat source ect. Imagine L4D3 with Dead Island's graphics. I cant stress enough how important L4D3 is for the game franchise.

No matter how much the source game engine is updated you cant get away from the fact it is based on 2004 technology. We need this to take the game into the next 10 years. Gabe Newell (Valve) in November 2012 confirmed that a Source 2 engine is under development, and that Valve is "waiting for a game to roll it out with" I expect and hope this will be Left 4 Dead 3. Who know maybe they will overhaul there entire games catalog, HL3 CS2 DoD2 TF3 P3. Come on, your telling me this is a bad thing, I THINK NOT.

If l4d3 came out though- What would be a good zombie class? One would heal zombies. That would be challenging... >:)

I think l4d3 would be great, actually I have no problem with accepting a completely new version If will be more imaginative, action, without movement restriction, with new characters, new weapons and new skills, I'd love to buy it. That's my opinion guys.

That's ridiculous... I'm not even sure there are plans for L4D3 at this moment, but even if there are, developing will take a long time. Think you still won't be bored with L4D2 in 1-2 years? Besides, L4D2 is far from being so full of bugs as the group description suggests. Sure I wish Valve fixed the annoying ones, but it's nowhere near as bad as some other games. Further, I, for one would love to see four new characters, new maps or other new elements a sequel can offer. If you like L4D2 mods keep playing them, there will be plenty enough players for that, L4D3 or not. And don't forget, Valve is a company that needs profits (outrageous, I know) so they have to keep creating new products. It's up to you whether you buy them or not. If there will ever be a L4D3, I sure will.

Kann ich nicht verstehn ein l4d3 währe doch sinnvoller weil die bags gefixt währen die grafik währe vergleichbar mit cs go 1a , und das mit den abstimmungen gab es auch schon nicht in css aber in cs go . Von dem herr sehe ich nur positves in l4d3 und wer kein bock meher drauf hatt spielt einfach weiter hin l4d und l4d2 ?

valve should remove the super annoying glitch in l4d2 in the survival mode when you got to a good survivin secret a random spit starts killin ya even if your out of it pls valve remove that ♥♥♥♥

I doubt we'll see a L4D3 any time soon. But as you mentioned in your overview, it would split the community, which is exactly what L4D2 did with L4D1. I set up a server for L4D1 where it combines things from L4D2 in it. Check it out here:

L4D2 was fine as it had melee weapons, new weapons, charas, maps, new items and special infected but what else are they going to add to L4D3 now?
