i wouldn't say it's anything like that in all honesty. I've been through depression, however I didn't look to a homophobic woman-beater for help. Sure I won't deny he did charity and ♥♥♥♥ like that, but ultimatley he was a domestic abuser and a homophobe, which should put you off of him entirely tbh. If you're willing to look past his domestic abuse and ♥♥♥♥, I'd say that's an issue that you have, not something you should brush over your shoulder as "everybody makes mistakes".

How do you think victims of domestic abuse and homophobia would feel seeing someone like this succeed? Couldn't it possibly put them into a pit of depression? Because that's the way I see it, there are better ways for you to get past your depression or a rough patch in your life.
