Wanted to recommend another title to put in the group: Mechpunk.
It's from Mr Pink, the same guy who did Golden Light (The Meaty Rougelike) and I'm honestly really enjoying Mechpunk. It's a very janky, badly translated mess, but could be ideal for those looking for something different

Does anyone know the name of that old custom mech building game, the only thing i remember about it is that the combat was long range.

Greetings pilots, I would like to suggest War Robots to chuck in with the big metal stompies.
F2P, Grindy (but what F2P isn't) huge player base, multiple platforms( steam, android, ios, fbGameroom) Plenty of clans with Discord servers. Regular updates and dev with new stuff and test servers available to android users. Happy Stomping

Howdy ho. making a return. Gundam extreme vs force hits vita and PlayStation tv format July 12th.

Titanfall 2 is also looking sexy and fixing the content issues of the first.

If anything more comes up on that assault suit title to pc let me know.

Be sure to check out Cryptark, pilots. It's an aggressive salvage job, physics based, zero g, mech shooter with some damn good sound design. And the levels are randomized with shape and objectives.

Yep, definitely not enough mech games on Steam. Heck, not enough mech games in general! We need to assemble an angry mob drop with assault level tonnage.
