You are here discussing what to choose, 3080 or 3090, but they cost so much that by selling 3090, I can buy a top-end 17" gaming laptop from the 20xx era and they are queued up for them until next summer... very nice! :steamsad:

It's not wasting space, it's using the existing psu side plugs. The reason they are saying 850w and above is because a lower end psu wouldn't be able to support the power output that the 12pin is capable of.

It is best that users always pause or stop the Windows Updates service first, then run Disk Cleanup (via Run as admin) and wipe out all the temp junk first. Then reboot and let Windows Updates apply, or manually Check for Updates. Leaving old WU temp and cache data intact can cause issues. Windows has always had that issue; i.e. XP, 7, and 8...

Just disable Windows Updates entirely until 2004 is patched and stable. We go through this every single new public build, so why is anyone surprised. Even MS says don't update to it yet unless you want to beta test for bugs, because they know these bugs exist but will patch them as time goes by.

June updates forces incompatible Intel patches to be automatically installed(that was completely optional before) even on AMD. On MSI laptop after installation, the fan starts making a very annoying sound. And if you do not have an incompatible driver, then M$ tries to force 2004, even if you have incompatible devices Conexant, Intel Optane, HP, Dell, Asus, Broadcom Ethernet \ Wifi \ BT etc.
The Brave New Steam Fltering System ban links to OFFICIAL, f*cking, STEAM SUPPORT KNOWLEDGE BASE! Yesterday they were forced to turn it off, because it acts only on helpers, moderators and blocks links to official Valve sites. :lunar2019crylaughingpig:

The majority of the storage a Windows system takes is with crap like the hibernationfile (Same as RAM size), pagefile (Usually about half RAM size). Then a ton of other stuff such as the Windows Registry will have storage pre-allocated. How much storage is used will depend on the machine it's running on.

These new B550 boards are really expensive compared to the old B450 ones.

The Gigabyte B450 DS3H costs around 75 euro. The new Gigabyte B550 DS3H costs over 100.
