As MCCT players, we- *ahem* most of us still remember the good times we had together, and no one told us we had to let that go. So, my proposition is that, rather than being a competitive team, we just use this group (or a new one, if ya'll prefer) to have some game nights on lobbies, cards, and something special I have planned just a few minutes after this goes up... Not saying what though.

Or, you know, we could try for fours or sixes when we get the chance. However, I doubt that everyone's going to be okay with both ideas. So, for now, I've got a sort of backup plan prepped...

STARTING THIS WEEK:

I'm going to be hosting (and possibly streaming/recording) game nights, where we can sit down, talk, watch someone play a singleplayer game, or all hop into something cooperatively or competitvely. Certain guests may make some appearances too, if we can get them to come (Honeycrisp, Giovanni, maybe AwesomeX [Unlikely], etc.). So, as a kickoff, I got some stuff going for a few hours here in a second or two. Whether or not you join is up to you, but if that answer is yes, then join the GROUP CHAT, because our mumble, as of now, is down. Me and Xer and (maybe) Honeycrisp'll be waiting for you.

Well, my friends, my team has fallen apart. People are inactive, the team is divided, and no one is happy. I made the group for people to have fun and to play tf2, and that's what we did last season. However, after reading everything that went down this past week, I don't believe we are a group anymore. I have to apologize, I believe I caused the undoing of the team as soon as last season ended. With me taking a hiatus from the team and thrusting link to be the leader of a team that was half new and half old, I caused this to happen. As many of you know, this was my second team I've led, and I can tell you this blew the other team out of the water. You guys are my family, as I have said before, we are all a big family of crazy uncles. However, I believe it is time to put us out of our misery.

With a very heavy heart, I have decided to disband MCCT. I believe that it will continue to get worse if we keep moving on in the season, and I just can't bare to think of us struggling over and over again. When we first started, all of us were super excited, we were playing games together, and we were genuinely a happy team. Even at the end of last season we were happy together. With me leaving, however, it seems everyone was just going through the steps. I hope you respect my decision, it is the only one I could think of under the circumstances. If you hate me, I'm sorry, I just don't feel like we'll be successful. Hopefully you guys will still at least be friends after this, battle frontier will still be open, and I may also make a team not asociated with masscc in the future. Please message me, I want your opinions.

Adanis announcment for those who missed it

So I realized there were some people who missed my announcment last Monday.
So, I have taken an indefinite haitus from the team as of now to focus on things in my life (if you are nosey enough to want to know, just ask me). Unfortunately, that means I won't be playing matches, and prolly won't be at practices.
HOWEVER! I still will offer advice, help, and any other things while doing this, although prolly not super frequently. Think of me as another Winter, only not as dead :^)

Super sorry to inconvenience you all, I hope you can understand. I love you all though, and wish you all the best!

Just a question to all of you, as it's been on my mind lately. If I, winter, or another higher up in the group were to create a fours or sixes team in UGC next time it boots back up, how many of you would want to play?

I ask this because, well, MCCT- if not supported by all of us- will die out. Gob, Bacon, and now German have dropped from our rosters because they either don't like us, or don't like UGC Iron highlander. So for those of us left after the fallout, I want to rebuild as a more compact team, with only 10-14 players, rather than a baffling twenty-two or so.

And again, I hate to say it, but German has indeed dropped from the team. Rather than bashing him for leaving though, I ask that you all respect his decision, as he doesn't like going up against smurf teams in Iron league

As for the fours and sixes team, I'll go by popular vote of which of the two, and what league we want to start off with. However, I suggest not voting any higher than steel for the league we join, as we still have a lot of work to do.

It's not actually practice. We as a team have not yet played our favorite game as a team yet, and I want to do it. So this sunday, two hours before practice, we'll be (optionally) playing....

Cards Against Humanity! (Also known as XYZZY, look it up on google and get some practice if you want.)

Completely optional, guys, but the MCCT vets will be stoked to finally play this bag of laughs again.

FOR ANYONE NOT WANTING TO ATTEND:

Practice for product will still be 7:00 EST. Be there or be... not there? (there's a joke here, I know it, but I can't figure it out.)

I hate to say it, but gob and bacon are leaving the team after I denied gob a spot as pyro on monday due to constant disrespect and lack of checking in with leaders before using power. I told him it would only be one match, and that I was doing it so Gob actually sees that he should be choosing his words more carefully. As for bacon, he has no actual side in the argument, but followed gob because they're still, as we all know, a couple.

So things are going to change a bit around here. As for now, bacon and Gob don't seem to be coming back, so I'm going to be looking for support from the all-class subs and Owixan to help fill the demo and pyro spots until we can find another person to main pyro, or sub demoman.

Secondly, I don't plan to actually use discipline techniques as such often, but the situation with gob was getting out of hand (Especially towards myself, I seem to be a dummy to practice swear words on ;~;). Just know that I won't hesitate anymore to actually give punishment where it is necessary. I don't mean anything like overtalking in mumble or missing a practice, because we're all here to have fun as a team, but if you're busy bashing other players when you could be helping them and yourself, don't expect to get off easy.

Lastly, this is more of a direct message to Winter himself, but because I find him to be trustworthy and helpful, I will be pushing for Xer to have a postion akin to Adanis' current one (and Gobitoe's old one). Nothing too big, I just might need a hand or two down the road to push me in the right direction as I try to lead this team to a better, more victory filled experience.

If you want to suggest anything you find annoying, wrong, or bad about how I'm currently running the team, please say so below, and I'll work on fixing that. I'm only human everyone, and it wasn't my decision to kick Gob or Bacon off, they left of their own volition.
