After not playing it for some years, i finally started the story again. And this time I did get further. I even finished it! :D
I really love the artwork, but the game is quite difficult. Loved it and can recommend it to others.

this game is very well put together, excellent gameplay, great story line, great soundtrack there is nothing bad about this game, it is a must buy

Ok, I just discovered the problem. Turns out Machinarium saves the state of your game as a Flash cookie. I had to prevent deletion in my BetterPrivacy add-on for Firefox and in CCleaner.

Man, couldn't stop playing the last 3 days, finally beat it....back to real life I guess. Great soundtrack too....Any other good point/click puzzle solver games out there (other than monkey island, sam n max...)?
