@Kennen: I don't know what led you to present the "Linux OS" the way you did (either a simple - but severe - lack of knowledge or - worse - a personal motivation to falsify History - I do hope the first explanation is the right one ^^) but in its current form, your description of "Linux" is just WRONG.
- NO, Linus Torvalds isn't the creator of the GNU/Linux operating system (the real initiator is Richard Stallman via his GNU project launched in 1983 - the development of Linux only started in 1991).
- NO, "Linux" isn't an operating system, it's just a kernel (as indicated correctly via your link to kernel.org), that is, just a part of the GNU/Linux operating system. IMO you'd better provide a link to gnu.org and fsf.org if you wish to be right and exhaustive.
Would I be the first one to highlight the errors contained in your group's description?...
I'll be waiting for a feedback from you and hopefully necessary corrections. But one thing is sure: I won't belong to a Steam group that provides such wrong information about GNU/Linux.
