These need to be posted into your .cfg's which should be here, [C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\YOURNAME\team fortress 2\tf\cfg], if autoexec does not exist make one by coping one of the class .cfg's and renaming it.


In soldier.cfg, post:


alias +rocketjump "+jump; +duck; wait; +attack"

alias -rocketjump "-jump; -attack; wait; wait; wait; -duck"

bind "MOUSE5" "+rocketjump"




Change MOUSE5 to any mouse/keyboard button you want. This is a basicaly perfect rocket jump, you still need to look down, or behind you however.

In autoexec.cfg, post:


alias +crouchjump "+jump; +duck"

alias -crouchjump "-duck; -jump"

bind "space" "+crouchjump"



To auto duck when you jump, there is no diadvantage to this, it mean you are a smal target, and can reach higher ledges. I did have a problem with it last time however, so a patch may have messed it up. Try it anyway.


Also, auto-reload is great most the time, but to be able to toggle it on and off the script below used the old reload button for this:



bind r toggle cl_autoreload
