There are a few steps on how to get multiplayer working properly because it's still in beta.

1. Make sure you opt into beta updates for the game and make sure it says "beta multiplayer".
2. Let the new update download.
3. To run multiplayer, go into the game's folder on your installed drive and open the multiplayer folder and run the .EXE from there.
