He had no time to leave an heir, he was too busy building the greatest empire in history.

And the reason it fell apart on his death was because he built such a grand empire that no other man could control it all like he could. He also won every battle he ever fought.

There are a few other reasons that he is the best, but those are probably the primary reasons.

So may I ask why they are called Generals and not Centurions? And Commanding Officers of the Army is a Legate? Sorry, just curious as you took the name Cohort :D Roman History is just my favorite.

Just to clarify how much gun powder technology is there?
Like for walls and such like can we fit cannons on them (large or small cannons) or are we still where cannons are extremely expensive and not a logical thing to mount on walls?
