I feel like WH40K Space Marine was made for a console. I thinik a gamepad would be more fun to play the game with. Pretty hard on a mouse if you use all your mouse-buttons as binds for combat moves. It is a pretty mindless game though.

yeah, i had never played a tower defense game before this month - in fact, i had never heard of it really until you mentioned them once on a wing night, and i was like, what is that? and so i nabbed a couple to get a feel for them - they are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hella addicting, holy crap. both frustrating and fun. heh.

I have never played a tower defense game, at least that I'm aware of ;)
I saw towers, and defending going on, thought that was it. I liked the twist Sanctum put on it, and there are 2 games coming out that intrigue me, somewhat same genre. One is called Ogres Must Die (I think) and the other escapes me atm, but its a game recently previewed that has you building stuff to combat waves of enemies, upgrading towers and dropping the stuff in from space, and its multiplayer.

yeah, i bought sanctum. that's an interesting twist on tower defense.

but i end up spending all my money on weapon upgrades and just killing the ♥♥♥♥ myself, lol.


...as for this anomoly game, it's reverse tower defense, which is weird as hell (which is why i bought it). you are the line of dudes trying to follow the route through a minefield of towers, and survive. different...

I see David likes Anomaly Warzone Earth, another tower-defense type game, eh? What about Sanctum, any interest in that? Seems to combine FPS with Tower Defense and multiplayer.

I own Borderlands, and I have quite a few toons. There's no real tank to the game, just characters that play differently. All of them are really fun, so it's just getting used to what you like to play. There's alot of games out there, alot of them really cheap gents. Terraria, Sven Co-op is free, Battlefield, we have alot of possibilties.

unfortunately, like, only you and frank own "magicka" though, bread. ;-/

you know what would be a ♥♥♥♥♥♥' awesome game to play as a group? borderlands, zomg. that's a group game to the core. dibs on being one of the tanks, if we do! :D

problem is, the same number of people own borderlands as owns magicka.

Alright people, seeing as how we're starting this up, we need to start finding some games that have common ground with everyone. TF2 is free, and there's a ♥♥♥♥ ton more out there. Lets get some ideas rolling. Personally, I think we can get some Magicka nights going.
