Guy's... why even bother? its a free game ffs. just go on csgo. alot more money in that. i got £4 gun that i traded up with easy money. only took me a few hours

i havent played video games using steam long, and since tf2 was the first game i played on steam, i think the price back then was roughly 11-14 ref im not sure, but now it's 17-20 ref last i have checked it, i maybe wrong, but that is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ RIDICULOUS! the pricing for items are crazy and over priced! also, another question, how does a item, an item soley brought into the game as a cosmetic, TURN INTO ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ CURRENCY? (earbuds) i think the price grid needs to be re arranged or completely abolished! i hope the people who took the time to read my comment agree with me and to anyone who has just visited this group and have not clicked on join, do it. i wish the whole pricing items was never created, i cant say much due to being a reasonably newcomer to steam, but if this game was based on everyone just trading for items that they think are cool, and like how they look, it would be a better community in my opinion.

Remember back in the days when a key was worth a mere 2 refined? And hats were cheap, except some (e.g. Stout Shako), but that didnt matter because -- Oooh, I have a key now...

Well that's good news, however there is a request to higher the price of a key from 17-17.33 and ref are worth $0.16 which makes a key $2.76 so it could just be that the system is just all outta wack :/

There's nothing to worry about. Buds are going back up, and you can buy like 10 hats for a key now :D. No one wants ref anymore. Keys never did go up, ref just went down. If you want to keep value, just change all your ref into keys before people stop buying it. I'm in no way defending BP here, but the whole key crisis they created seems to be over. the real problem wasn't key's price in ref, it was the price of unusuals in buds. If buds go down, all unusuals priced with buds go down. Since buds went back up, my inventory's value went from $200 to $273. Regular hats are no longer part of the economic equation, as they account for so little. so yeah. The economy is saved and we can all go back to sleep.
