that said, Bunker Rift and I learned a Lot in a days gaming. I want to pick a better starting spot and do this again. one days gaming will restore what i ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up on and doing this closer to resources, maybe even IN that military base. would make for a superior defensive fortress :D SORRY Bunkerman, my bad but hey im honest about it and id rather be honest so.........
I had started this world as a place to learn crafting and forging. so i turned off zombies and found a nice building and with little further thought, started making a base so i could craft and forge. not really a suitable site or building from zombie angle but in peace, a great lil place.
Once Rift got in and then Bunker, my horizons expanded so to speak. Bunker is an awesome and fast builder as well as an avid explorer and with no zombies around, in the course of 6 game days we had stone walls nearly completed, two stone castle turrets done and a third in the works, I dug a 2x3 moat all around the outside and then lined its outer edge with tree spikes. our fortress should now withstand many waves of zombies with no prob.
