Hi Wackjob. I still haven't been able to get it working., not sure it will ever be up again. EWver since Steams update I have had no luck. I have reinstalled several times, replaced the router and everything else i can think of to do. I try every few weeks, hoping for some change, but have had no luck to date. Steam support, as usual, is useless... they will not support servers.

I'm still having trouble accessing anarchy.....HELP!!

We have just put up a new server. Much stronger processor and three times the RAM. Please let us know if this improves on the lag problems. We will also be upgrading the internet connection soon. It was scheduled for Monday 4/8/13 but they have to upgrade the circuit. They are hoping it will be done by the end of the month.

Hailex. Sorry, just noticed the post. I don't know what you mean "a link to joplin hideout"? Are you looking for the servers? If so, please refer to the post on the 21st... it has a way to access the servers without going through Steam (until they get the problem fixed... if ever).

The Ship 2 (not Hollywood Murder Party) is in the planning stages and the company that purchased the rights needs all the support they can get. Check it out here:

We apologize about the frequent down time of the server. There is a power problem and we are not sure if it is the server or the battery backup. We are working on it and hope to have stability restored soon.

Can you guys please get the Anarchy server up and running (like in the good ol days), so we can hopefully get a good group together and have fun playing on it... Thanks! :)

Still working on this... Steam is less than responsive and, despite the fact that private servers help them thrive, they will offer no support... gotta love this company. Anyway, our server connects to Steam and registers so i believe it is a Steam issue that we are not showing up in the list. I have requested that they look into this possibility but i doubt that will happen. We will keep trying on our end.

The server will not synch with Steam. We are looking into it and hope to have it back up soon. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

Because of recent problems on the Anarchy server we will be banning people for extremely rude behaviour towards other players. This will include refusal to turn off cheats when asked, abusive language, maliscious name calling, racial slurs, threats or bullying. If you have a problem then please contact either Clyde or Bonnie, do not engage in a heated argument. We will try to be more available and more responsive but please understand that this is not a job for us... we have real work and a family. The server is checked frequently when we are available but we cannot monitor it 24 hours a day. Your help and understanding is appreciated. If you contact us then please include a day and approximate time so we can review the logs. Without that information it is virtually impossible to find.

Ghost, Ghostjr, Honey Badger, whatever your name happens to be. Contact me and we can discuss removing the ban. The abusive language will not be tolerated by anyone on this server. Cheats are not allowed on this server but cannot be disabled independently. Because of this, cheats are tolerated with the understanding that they are turned off when requested by other players.

A short note about cheats. Anarchy was not designed to be a cheats server, it is a side effect of the shortcomings of the software. There is no way to enable certain cheats without unblocking all of them. It has been a source of frustration from the begining but we cannot fix that flaw. Early on we removed people for cheating but later decided that it was alright to play with the cheats on the server as long as players remained respectful to others and stopped the cheats when asked. It's all very simple, treat people with respect, play nicely and be a good neighbor. I will be modifying our rather outdated introduction on this group to reflect what is expected for both Joplin Hideout and for Joplin Anarchy. We hope to start rotating these servers weekly, biweekly or monthly, or I may build a second server again... haven't decided on that.

I must agree with andrew, How the cheaters can be can get very annoying. As well as the needs why not just get rid of the needs instead.

Thanks for the suggestion Andrew. We will keep Hideout up. We are still working on a way to put both online or have 'Anarchy Game Days'. Not sure yet and have not had much time to look into all the options.

Keep Jopilin Hideout up and shut down Anarchy, Most people who come to this game (newbies) should learn how to play without cheats, Limited Ammo, Security, and is much more challenging (But I do hate needs, there really annoying)
