saw your reddit post TDT. the bias of from individuals who haven't gone through a false ban in the csgo/cs2 community have towards those who have been banned falsely and defend their innocence is demoralizing. i was unbanned almost 2 years ago at this point, but still check this group frequently hoping for any sort of resolution for the individuals who are still banned to this day. the fact that people who simply played the game normally could lose everything from a completely faulty and bugged automated anti-cheat, that i'm sure is still in use today (albeit with crucial bugs fixed i'm sure), while simultaneously providing no official outlet to have the ban reviewed by an actual human being is an atrociously bad business practice.

Crazy how many people still deny that our bans are false, they think of Valve as some heavenly organisation that couldn't possibly ever mess up. I'm sure some people here aren't being truthful but with myself being victim to this problem I know it's real and I give everyone here the benefit of the doubt. Crazy that Valve pretty much said since you can still play other games that the matter is resolved, how pathetic.

I give up on letting valve fix this on their own. been banned for over two years and still haven't gotten any response or even an acknowledgement anywhere from a valve employee. currently drafting a letter of good faith to send to their legal dept. i'm sure they'll forward this to the devs and force them to acknowledge that this happened. they're gonna start getting a lot of bad media attention otherwise. has anyone here from the EU sent them a subject access request regarding their ban? im from USA but would be interested to see that info

honestly still glad I didn't spend too much money on this train wreck. I was one of those people who didn't understand the CS2 hate and tried to love the game until I got banned for no reason at all. In the 550+ days I've yet to be able to speak to an actual human at valve about this. I just get dismissed. No system is perfect, you'd think they'd at least try to have a support group for false flags, to act like any and all people banned are 100% guilty just makes no sense from a statistics point of view. Not even the real justice system is 100% correct and innocent people get locked up sometimes. Even if the success rate of actual bans is close to 98%(hypothetically) that still leaves 2% of people getting completely shafted with no solution. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ insane.
