This is a very cozy sub-genre and Nukearts ruined it or atleast damaged it.
As written on Sentinels of the Store Announcement this is bad for Devs and for Gamers.

I've found a little time (whilst off sick from work) to update my curator reviews. Each now lists it as "Not recommended" because I don't feel like a company that actively wants to remove games should be a recommended by the page. They are good games, but that's scummy tactics.

I've opted not to delete the reviews as I still want to maintain a full list of games as a reference. However the reviews themselves now also include a note to warn people that it's a controversial developer and maybe their money would be better focused on a developer who wants to support a niche market.

The community already started punishing Nukearts with Negative Review bombing as also several changed their positive Review to Negative.
Steam Users (who dont own their games) can contribute for this punishment on Nukearts with Likeing (YES button on Review) several or all of the Negative Reviews on their games what mentioning the trademark abusing. Because how this work on Steam those Reviews will be shown first as "useful" Review for everyone who look for their games.
Surely this is not the best way, but might be a good start.
Nukearts damaged the whole Doodle Hidden Objects genre with this action. Surely we will lose several games from Steam, those Devs who missing this Trademark issue.

I warned two Dev about the situation on their forum, hopefuly they can take action to rename their games. Big issue also that the deadline is exactly at Next Fest start.
This is so silly, alot of game in this subgenre have "hidden cats" on their title name.
Nukearts is greedy and evil, but I also questioning the competence of authorities as they just accepted this Trademark without investigation?
I never wished a Dev get bankrupted, but I do with them about this absolutely harmful action.

Hi All. I'm trying to juggle a number of other offline commitments at the second, so don't have loads of time to do much for the curator list at the minute. As a first step, I've made the folder for the company unlisted and won't be posting further games on the Release News. Current reviews will remain as they are for the time being, but I may look at amending them when life calms down.

Another Curator important forum about the situation. A Dev noted there that this must be fought together by lil Devs because if every Dev just made an own little notice it will just a buzz in the air and only give attention to Nukearts.

This is ridicilous. I dont even understand how trademark can be work backward.
It will backlash on them, surely. The community already started negative review bombing all the games by Nukearts.
The Curator of this site might made a note about this on Nukearts games. It is realy damaging of this subgenre. Likely, due of short timeframe, some Devs will not get noticed in time and get their game removed from Steam.
Im realy glad I did not bought any game from them yet and I will not.

They weren't even the first game to be named with that format. Their first game was 31 Mar 2022. For example, Anatoliy Loginovskikh's "100 hidden cats" was launched 15 April 2021.

Please consider updating your Nukearts curated recommendations!
They've copyrighted the words "Hidden Cats" and sent out infringement notices.. devs with game titles that contain those words now have until March 2nd to rebrand or have their game delisted.
It sucks and it's very damaging. I'm really disappointed.
