But you seriously believe that anything written on wikipedia is fake? If you read the direct sources you probably would not say its fake, but its written on wikipedia and therefore its fake. That is really stupid considering there are real sources that you can easily read.
to name but a few of the finest service firearms of the worlds most mighty military force ..... (at the time the weapons mentioned were used that is :P)

Murders are much lowers in countries without guns, its not an coincidence
But the crimes that guns prevent are more then weighted up by the crimes that people commit because they have them.
If someone jump on you and start beating you, you wont have time to draw your gun, put of the safe, aim and fire.
Do you sit in your home with a gun pointing at the window and wait for someone to come in?
Owning a gun doesn't make you a movie badass that can draw and shoot in a milisecond with laser pin point accuracy.
In Sweden an armed man got shot to death in his apartment by police and it was on the news for 5 weeks.
Regular murders make national newspapers.
You can argue me, but you cant argue facts.
I support your right as americans to own guns, but dont say that its helping more then its harming because its simply not true ( sorry steam wont allow me to make comments longer then 1000 chars ;) )
But look at the stats.
America is among the worst countries in the world with fire arms violence, Hong Kong has super restriced laws and has 0,03 firearm deaths per 100k citizens. America has 10 per 100k.
If guns help more, then why do countries without them have less firearm homocides?
Because the people commiting murders cant afford buying a gun on the black market.
Yes, if everyone was armed to the teeth then Charlie Hebdo attack would had been less violent. But there would be more school shootings and murder accidents.
In America it has gotten to the point where school shootings are barely a big deal, i remember i think it was in last april where it was a school shooting and a politican got shot on the same day. And it didn't even make the news.
But how often do you get invaded?
Its not like its happends twice a week.
There are advantages with having guns but in the end your not really helping the nation out by having them. If some country was threatenting, then i would see the point in legalizing them. But Norway is miles away from any threat.
Yeah you might stop half of those people from getting killed but you are also allowing murderers to be armed.
A criminal doesn't have the money to buy a weapon in countries like Hong Kong

In the US a gun costs 1000$ and you can get it delivered to your house. Not really much room for a psychopath not to get their hands on one.

Sure, things are fine now, that's fine, they are fine here as well, but the situation can rapidly change into less favorable, and sometimes vioent conditions, especially with how the economy in Europe is headed today.
