Well yes technically with his Misdirection, he surpass Kuroko. But if somehow Kuroko can regain his Shadow, he will be unstopable with this Ignite pass Kai and his Misdirection. If No.5 can have Mis direction AND capable in shoot, then Kuroko can do the same, but maybe he need to change his style again. He need to find that style on his own to regain em. Cause Akashi surely not going to give him a tips for that.
