Honestly, the longest I've ever spent on a single (non survival) map was about half an hour and there's no problem if you have to leave mid game on most every map (if you aren't building the main defence, but play as hero based damage :p)
So, do not worry about that, I think people would love to pay you company for a map a day, or a week!
And yes, you should drop out instantly if you start to suffer instead of enjoying the game!
As for what Ubivis mentioned, have you tried to set the game to 'lowest' setting, that seriously reduces the amount of light and colour for me (had to take that step with enough explosion and monsters to keep my GPU alive ;)).
The only issue I see is that a hero based character might be considered fast paced, whereas a tower based one could cause some inconvenience if logging out mid game.

I tried before, only can play for less than an hour, if not i have to fight the headache. According to advice that i found in most game booklet, you must stop playing immediately if you encounter such symptom :)
It's not motion sickness, but BPPV. A minor one. The same reason why i don't play much online game. Because i might need to stop playing during mid game, thus not really fair to other people:(

hmm... there must be a solution Wormhole... how about adjusting the color settings of your monitor to have black/white Only? One problemsolved :)

Levels can be beaten easily and quick with the correct tactic.

Fast paced might be a bigger problem :(

This game is great from my observation (watch my younger brother play), but my current state of health doesn't allow me to dedicate too much time in game like this because it's fast paced, colourful, and take lot of time to finish. So i'll easily suffered headache during mid game. Sorry couldn't join you guys.

Ubivis, do you happen to know if the Spider Queen spawns exactly on the same location, or if there's a slight randomizer involved? I think I'd have a rather funny (and maybe even smart :p) strategy, so she'd be easy in the end even on Insane, if somebody got a tower apprentice, tower countess and tower monk.

Most unfortunately, I had to leave early on, because my PC started to copy Vitek's (:p) and acted up (getting extremely hot in my case). I'm sorry and would like to excuse at Montsa and Protoss.

Finally event that lured a lot of people. There was even 7 of us so we ad to make 2 groups. Thanks for game it was fun!

Fortunately Vitek (and darknath) , Protoss and MonstaMunch play some DD, though they barely post here.

I'd love some fun dungeon defending sessions and if somebody would need help to get to a decent level, it wouldn't be a problem.

If someone likes to plan an event, just let me know (GOG PM, or Steam Wall), and I will set one up for you. All you need to do is to tell me, when the Event will be, and what type of event it will be (e.x. Leveling, Insane Runthrough, DLC, Challenge, ...)

It would seem like we'd get more games running if we could plan sessions a bit ahead of time, instead of posting right away and expecting a timely response.
Could we create an announcement that allows for everybody to leave a timeframe where s/he would be capable of defending some dungeons?

nightmare game is canceled... just came home and figured out: L.A. Noire killed my graphic card, and my laptop is just too slow to run the game :(

hmm, last time I accidently clicked that, a message came up, that the other player does not have that DLC and would be kicked. Maybe Chisaku has the DLC but did not know? :)

@Vitek - or we could always boost you to a higher level.. takes you 10-15 minutes with a high level player to boost you to lvl 15-16

Ubi - i'd love to join.. but Nightmare difficulty slaughtered me last i tried XD (also note: only host required to have DLC to play on nightmare.. i tested it with Chisaku, she doesn't have it, but she could join my nightmare game no prob)

I have level 8 Knight and level 6 Monk. If some low-level player wants to play with me, I am available.

I will host a game on "Nightmare" (DLC required) tomorrow from 7:30pm (GMT+1)... if someone likes to join, just let know *gg*

yeah.. this group is also good for training and boosting.. MonstaMunch is green too.. but he's learning and he's getting better!..

There is either the easy way (Leveling on level "insane" with the help of an high level partner) or the hard way (playing the game correctly *gg*)
