GFWL is the best thing that has happened to the PC. After dumping my xbox for a gaming rig, i get bored with games with no live integration.

can somebody help me out with GFWL..........i can log into my account but not onto the live service.......btw the game is warhammer dawn of war 2 if it make any diffrence......i tried the support page but i was so thrilled with the help they game me. here it is.

1. check that you are connected to the internet.
2.sign into your live account.

i can see problems here.

1. conecct to the internet. but i am because otherwise how would i have got here??????
2. sign into your live account WTF is that going to do. the link takes you to your live e-mail address for some random reason.

and guess what people...after all of that i STILL have the problem.....thx microsoft for ruining my day

So what are the cool features of this? At the moment I am unable to save games in BioShock 2... This is highly redundant with Steam. If Valve has approved sale of this over their store, perhaps a Steam version of GFWL could be develloped, providing the optionfor a smooth and integrated Steam GFWL experience. My experience of GFWL so far (BiShock 2) has been of an archaic, clunky, slow, controlling and ultimately ineffective Data Rights Management system. On top of that, LIVE seems to need my parents permission to register. My age, high courts and established law would disagree. . . Frankly, though, I'd prefer not to divulge personal information to initiate a video game. . . Ah, it does not matter, my hotmail - er, Windows LIve - e-mail address is not valid. To Tech Support, AWAY! Or more dangerous waters. My most constructive suggestion is to implement login and updating outside of games so that it can be done in the background, instead of in semi-system intensive game menu.
