detourne_me is right....but there is a way to put any type of content in the game. I just dont get what bundle is
have a look at this link to help me out. only the people who has character tools wiill know this
file:///C:/Program%20Files/Irrational%20Games/FFvTTR/help/Character%20Tool/index.htm
press on the 'BUNDLE' icon
It's okay if there are different skins, as they will load differently on the computers.
However if one person doesn't have the right mesh, it loads up minuteman by default, but with all of the attributes, powers and animations of the custom character.
So this means, if people want to do multiplayer battles with custom meshes, everyody involved should have the same files. I guess the easiest way to ensure that is when you download custom content, please keep the names that the original creators gave the files,
For example : The Rampaging Hulk By Renegade is just titled "Hulk" while his Red Hulk is called "Hulk_red" and the Incredible Hulk is called "Incredible_Hulk" - hope that makes sense.
Also, am I the only one who loves the hammy narrator? He needs to be playable.
I've just created a Steam group for Freedom Reborn - the FF and FFvsTTR modding community. Please join up if you are interested.
Also check out www.freedomreborn.net if you aren't aware. There are a tonne of mods for the games that will really iimporvew your experiences.
Aggs - What sort of problems are you having with the skins?
I would totally be down with playing some online matches. I was always interested to see the capabilities and how they handled custom meshes.
but seriously, i'm excited.
I'm a member on Freedom Reborn www.freedomreborn.net and I'm really excited that Freedom Force has come to Steam. Now I'm trying to install some mods for both games, and I'd like to see how that works out.
Hopefully being on Steam will breath more life into the game, and people will play online more.
