The best way is to report directly to the Aurhors so they can help you, not everyone checks out constantly this modding page.

I thought this was a good place, so i dont have to contact many ppl..

On this map i dont use anything, unless bies count.

i use the extended caravan mod, and my donkeys are set to imortal.
Now and then i`v seen a 6 legged donkey, the villager on the donky has their feet on the ground aswell, and running "inside"/along.

2. Besse, if you are using mods and you see something has changed the best way is to let know the Author of specific mod :)

3. Are you using any mods that speed up things like more productive fields or orchards?

Hey,
Did things in the game change recently?
Some new things i`v noticed:

1 Now i have sick animals att the caravan places.
Moving the donkeys to the Stables, and then killing them helped.
Donkeys wernt sick earlier when i`v played

2 The mod Armed and dangerous
It seems it isnt working.
Animals are being killed in attacks, wile the animal herders are close by, and ignoring it.

3 Keep research.
it seems that the research is coming and going.
Some harvests are way less then the year before, like 30K different.

4 Starting a new map
on my latest island, one winter i had 6 villagers left, next winter the same villagers.
When checking who they where, they were all male, so no new toddlers.
i sorted it. But when this happen the game is bound to fail.

i`v have played the game for 500 hours now.
Thanks for all the great mods.

Regarding the earlier issue with the query, it was what is called a map hole, a few tiles that makes the game crash if you build or do something there.

Besse, its too less information to help you cause in my game stone mine doesn't cause a crash, are you using mods that aren't updated, maybe one of them is causing this?

Thank you for the grand mods.
The few last days i`v noticed a issue though, when a stonequery is empty, the game crashes when i try and remove it.

There was a villager named Error, sadly he died of old age.. it was a screenshot moment :D

Yury_Filatov - it's not possible at this moment with all restriction on the game's core. We can't modificate people's behaviour like you wrote in your post.

Student 3d artist here - I have a couple of ideas for new buildings, like a dedicated farm-house that'll sit between the Shack and small house (but look more like the shack).

"and sheep need to stop filling up my warehouse with wool! " = Have smaller Sheep Farms thruout MAP. >Wool is excelant for trading at Market

"Also, chickens eat way too much." = Chickens supply two meat each and 1 egg: One Hunter requires much more then just outs ;)

Consider Tradeing for HIdes at Market: I trade Excess Wool and extra Tools for Hides

Ich kann leider nicht modden, aber testen ich habe schon ein großes dorf (650 people) wo man einiges auspropieren kann.
ich wollte euch fragen ob es möglich ist lagerhäuser und Schaunen einen neuen tab / fesnster zu machen wo an einstellen kann was ind das lager / scheune eingelagert werden darf und ob es dann auch möglich ist wie viel max. eingelagernt werden darf, für jedes lager extra.

Hello everyone :-)

I'm trying to make some things and don't know how to find the functions I need in the current game version.

Basically I need a lot of the things that was formerly in life/human/Peasant_Update.lua
The greatest part of that file is now 'greyed out' with --[[ ... ]] and if I try to do something with the old functions, it doesn't have any effect.

Specifically I am looking for whatever ist is that is now being used instead of these functions:

function Peasant:visitSchoolEfforts
function Peasant:lightHealingEfforts
function Peasant:dressingEfforts
function Peasant:drunkennessEfforts

Hi, I would like to increase the nutrition values of foods, so the foods are more valuable. I think bread is more valuable than vegetables regarding caloriens. also fish and meat are more valuable in caloriens than vegetables or fruits. I wish to configure via window the ration of foods in summer / winter, finally the setup of food combination. So everyone house gets 3fish, 2meat, 5fruit, 5 vegetables, 1 bread. children consumes less food etc. anyone have an idea where i could to find the .lua file for food nutrition ?

check the Workkshopp mods. cstoneburner has a mod More Productive Animals that gives all animals bothhides and meat. For hunting I suggest using level & 2 Towers in stratigic spots instead of relying on hunters.

PS: I have seen other mods that rebalance the animals but have not used them so am unable to comment on them. Check the comments for further information.

I think I have only 2 issues at this point in my game (year 40ish)

Cows need to produce hides and sheep need to stop filling up my warehouse with wool! Silly over production. Also, chickens eat way too much. The consumption of oats of small vs large crittters needs to be rationalised,

a simple mod request, for the people working on mods for this game, i noticed the cottage mod and i have to say its wonderful, however, has anyone planned on adding in more home structures, or buildings for the game? other than just making some available that are already achievable in the game? i would even accept moddified buildings with more space.

Travis, other than size and speed I haven't seen anything else moddable for terraforming.

Does any one know if the terraforming tools are able to be modified was digging around the .pak files and all ive found is stuff that relates too size and speed and i was wanting to work on a terrain smoothing mod.

I understa d that achievements should work with mods. However the game is still being worked on so there is no guarantee.

There was one in released mods but I do not know if it has been updated for the latest coding changes. The devs are making major changes and it is hard for the user modders to keep up with them.

Currently we are waiting for another update or assistance in order to update the mods. We can stilll do some of the basic reconfiguration. Go to the Released Mods forum and check which mods cstoneburner has updated for the patch 0.9.6100. Also we are waiting for pbox to update FVSM installer. He is currently involved with personal issues. We apoligize for this inconvience but when a game is still in deelpement things like this will arise. It is easy to learn how to do some basic reconfiguration yourself. Please consider that. Thank you for joining.

Greetings all im a 3d modeler i have been trying to get into the model files, i have them all extract . currently trying to id the format the engine needs. so far all i can figure out is maybe unity forma will update when i get a hand on it though im more of a artist then modder
