After a few weeks of grueling development, I'm proud to say the new site is up and running https://steamfriends.net

New feature: Looking for friends posts
What is it? A tool to let users make posts looking for friends who want to play the same games as they do
Why is it worth mentioning? You can select options about how you play specific games, what you do in them, what your skill level is, which game modes you play and etc..
How do I contact the post author? Add the user by clicking on "Add on Steam" on the right hand side, or send the user a private message on Reddit via "Reply via Reddit".

If you're tired of adding or accepting friends only to find out that they dont speak the same language / who have vastly different skill levels, give the site a try. Find the right Steam friend for once! Link[steamfriends.net]

Hey guys, hows it going?

After talking to a ton of people on reddit and Steam, I started working on a new feature that should be much more useful than the site's current features. I hope to make this site exactly the way I envisioned it. I won't say that with this feature the site will be 100% complete. For sure there's room for improvement but with this I hope the site takes a huge leap in the right direction.

Also updated a few things:

-changed some aesthetics of the site, notably the footer and top navbar
-site should work 100% in Internet explorer. It was completely broken before

-the site no longer fetches your owned games library.
-now searching for a user that plays a game no longer takes his/her games library into consideration
-we felt that a player's recent games history takes priority over the library.
