With friendly fire the way that it is it's pretty hard to deal that kind of DPS to kill them, and wyvern breath kills friendly stuff regardless of setting.

Opinions on turning friendly fire on. Down side is we could accidentally kill our dinos, upside is punching stuff out the door, harvesting our own dead etc

We have a server up and running on the center, scorched earth dinos, steampunk, an various other mods, connection information coming tonight or poke Mrs during the day if you cant wait

I am currently playing on SurvivalPlus mod - that is a lot of fun.. and superhard!! And it requires trading and choosing different professions. Plus far from all dinos are tameable. It certainly brings the realism into the game that you guys were talking about at some point :-D

The possibility of restarting the server is a thing. Any interest, also on a new map/mods so would run the risk of loosing things as the map is worked on.

I just did a fly thru on Ragnarok.... all I can say is wow... when this map is complete it will be amazing. the Terrain is pretty much complete but the majority of foilage is missing. There is a Desert biome with SE dinos. The Map is HUGE. I can't wait to play on it.

ok i've applied the latest update, here is hoping that resolves the crashing issuse you have been getting

I'll take a look into whats happening later today. hol season mean that RL is some what hectic.

Oh and also... Mrs. Wyn - right after you logged out, I crashed again, and when I logged back in the server had been rolled back quite a bit (to before my quetz tame), so if you don't have the ptera saddle when you log back in that is why... Just call me in-game if that's the case, and I'll make you a new one :-)

Just a few things - right before christmas (yes, to me it's actually christmas right now - since we celebrate it on the 24th ;-)). First off: Wicked - I've moved your spino up to your base... It was struggling somewhat with the wildlife in the river :-)

Has the gathering rate been upped?

Did the holiday event not install correctly on the server? I mean Raptor Claus is a thing - and I've been hunting and picking up his presents... so that's working. But there was no snow and no blueprints in the smithy. So it seems that only half of it is there :-)

RIght before the server was finished loading all the files and I was about to get into the game, it crashed. And it did the exact same thing on both mine and my daughters computer. But doesn't do it anymore :-)

when the server was done loading it would crash the game.... IDK if that was your issue as well.

I had that issue after a patch, Wicked. But it's gone now :-)

Dunno about the dragons... I just flew around the island today searching for a quetz... Didn't find a single quetz and only one dragon. I would prefer taming the dragons myself honestly :-) But what is up with the quetz spawns... or lack of rather ;-)

Dragons driving me mad, they seem to either overspawn to rediculus numbers, or not spawn at all. tempted to turn off wild spawns and if some one wants a dragon they can negotiate an egg? opionions

I'm actually taking a look at the dragons now, regardless of what i do they seem to overspawn

Xavyrr... We found your bodies today when we were online - and they almost decayed. So we made a storage box by your sharks (unlocked of course) and put all your stuff in there so you don't loose it :-)

I've a good idea what has caused this, I can sort it out tonight or try and get fei to look at it.

One mod has been removed from the workshop an combined with all the other mods this maker has made, swapping one small 10 mb mod for a huge 500 mb one. Taking the 10 items we want and adding another 490.... I'll either put the new one on or find an alternative

Okay, I'm like 99% sure there's a mod on the server that doesn't exist on the workshop. Most of you guys are probably unaffected because it doesn't auto uninstall it, but I cleared my mods to update the collection. So I cannot play on the server. :(

I'm not 100% sure yet, but it looks like a mod that is being used on the server was removed by it's developer. Therefore I cannot join since I wiped my mods to update the mod collection.

server and mods are getting updated, ive drpped a Password on the server so i can make sure its all good in the morning without having to wipe some ones night of work. ill unlock when i know its up an working. sleep well

If you guys are wondering why you've not seen a lot of me this last week its becasue my PC appears to have fallen out with ARK. it entirly fails to launch... click ARK in steam, select launch option, See battle eye window pop up, then nothing, no ARK... revalidated ARK last night and it brough down 33 files. Will redownload it tonight i think as leaving it to download through the day will kill the internet for the house
