I also want them to change CSS but I want them to change the gameplay.
I want Valve to change the CSS gameplay to make it something new and not a carbon copy of CS 1.6

And no, just because TF2 is class based it does not make it superior. It makes it different. They are two completely different games and should not really be compared. Wow really different game modes and maps? CSS also has that. They are 3rd party, but they work just as well as TF2's game modes. So please, take your bashing to a TF2 fan boy page.

No, Valve did not walk out on CS:S, they just have not updated it because there was nothing to add. Nothing to change. CS:S was okay as it was... its still is okay.

Actually.. I have used night vision quite a bit of times on this one ZM server. All the maps they have uploaded to the server require nightvision and occasionally only a flashlight as most maps have 0 or close to 0 light entitiies or env_light.

My point is that the "Night Vision Goggle gameplay mechanic" is NOT USED AT ALL therefore the gameplay feature is REDUNDANT. I have not seen any maps that are 'dark enough' or have serious lighting where a gameplay feature like "Nightvision goggles" would be required.

In short making the old valid gameplay nameable features:
- Recoil, Bullet pattern
- Flashbangs
- Handgrenades

Only level features:
- Bomb plant
- Hostage Rescue
(VIP gameplay removed)

as valid gameplay features

Considering
- Walling / Shooting through walls is not a gameplay feature
- Bunny hopping IS NOT a gameplay feature in a game where the mechanic is team based and everyone runs at a certain speed (Conditions: Knife in or out)

Gameplay isn't very depthful in CS. Seriously?
