You all prob got the same email for red 5 studios but here is soem interesting news abouts betas i recieved today.

THE WAIT IS OVER... LET'S DO THIS:
We know everyone is very excited about getting their hands on the game, and the tribe at Red 5 is proud to announce that beta invites started going out Friday, September 2nd, 2011. We've released 500 invites for a preliminary test taking place in two weeks.

Keep in mind that our beta will be a staged process. Registered members have been chosen to participate in Closed Beta: Stage 1. Our selection is partially based on positive community member activity, and partially at random.

Over the next 2 weeks many more lucky people will be invited to subsequent rounds of our closed beta. Additionally, those invited will receive an invite themselves to pass out to their friends. Look for your email invitation and please know that if you have not received one yet, it's likely to land in your inbox soon!

In FF we decided to move agency from GA. I just do not have information on the political component of FF but I think we may well play in one alliance)))

yeah politics is a massive factor in these sort of areas. Id be happy with old GA agencies having some sort of pact ongoing but again all boils down to who likes who and who doesnt :p Was just a random idea that dropped out of the brainstorming me and arch had this morn :p

Nice Zabadee. Not 100% sure for the other idea though, it sounds great on paper but there's a lot of independance in regards to this sort of thing these days. At the very least though, All the old GA agencies that recognise eachother in FireFall could just be friendly with eachother. Though who knows tbh, that kinda thing depends on so many factors, game mechanics / politics being the biggest two.

Just a thought for an Army. What about we set up an Army Called Global Agenda and have ALL old skool GA players in 1 Army alot of us know each other and if there are issues between members than let it be water under the bridge for a new begining. This way we could have a good Army off the bat and be ready for any sort of clan war, also this means we should be able to field some sf's or teams once we can work out the war system.
